Methods of preserving fried and steamed mushrooms

3- Now you can saute or steam the mushrooms. If you fry the mushrooms, they will be tastier, but if you steam them, you can keep them longer. It is better to know that you can keep steamed mushrooms for up to three months longer than fried mushrooms.


How to cook and freeze steamed mushrooms

If you want to preserve the color of the steamed mushrooms, before cooking them, soak the prepared mushrooms in a solution of 1 cup of water and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice for 5 minutes.

The time to cook the whole mushroom is 5 minutes, 1.2 to 3 minutes to cook the mushroom cap, and 3 minutes to cook the leg. Now quickly cool the mushrooms, for this you need to drain them quickly and pack them.

Chopped or minced mushrooms can be mixed with toppings such as onions, garlic, herbs, and butter and used as a condiment or sauce, which is known as mushroom sauce.
