What does social dialogue mean?

  • Definition of language dialogue:

A discussion or conversation that may occur between two or more people.

Conventionally:

It was defined as a conversation that takes place between two groups on a specific and specific topic that raises many questions, and each individual in the group has his own point of view and a principle to which he belongs, and aims to reach a truth or the maximum possible level of understanding and agreement.

Far from adversity, fanaticism, or hatred in ways that depend on two foundations, science and reason, but it is necessary for both parties to be willing to accept the truth even if it is known by another individual.

The importance of social dialogue in achieving social peace

In November 2013, the World Organization of the Scout Movement and the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for Dialogue signed a memorandum of understanding in order to promote dialogue between different religions and different cultures between young people and each other.

Where they agreed that dialogue is one of the tools that enhance the responsible way of living in peace and achieving security. Dialogue is the most important part in resolving problems, conflicts and conflicts, and building and consolidating the bases of peace.

It is not just a discussion, circulating talk, or a conference that is held and then ends without a goal. Rather, it is much more than that, as it creates and prepares the safe space in which people’s assumptions, judgments, opinions, points of view, and perceptions about many matters appear.

There are seven principles of dialogue that must be observed and participants need to be aware of the three types of peacebuilding approaches that are necessary to ensure a successful transition to a peace system and political, structural and social peacebuilding and the seven principles of dialogue:

  1.  Agree that reason and purpose is learning.
  2.  Focus on the relationship.
  3.  Ready to change the situation.
  4.  Employ appropriate communication skills.
  5.  The surface is what is hidden.
  6.  Being in difficult places.
  7.  A safe space.

Social dialogue in the Labor Code

The International Labor Organization has a prominent role as it works to greatly support social dialogue, and the biggest evidence of this is that the organization is governed by social partners and governments in a tripartite manner.

All the initiatives that have been established and are still under construction seek to promote and achieve a peaceful and fruitful dialogue between workers, governments and the business sector.

The ILO is negotiating international labor standards so that they can be applied at all national levels in all participating countries.

These standards also cover freedom of association and collective bargaining for both workers and companies, and include the rights of social dialogue for workers who are already employed in private employment services as stipulated in ILO Private Employment Agencies Convention No. 181.

Articles 4, 11, and 12 provide for freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining for all such workers. The Economic Cooperation and Development System developed research recommendations related to social dialogue and collective negotiations as tools to deal with developments and changes within the labor market.

Since the private employment service in turn seeks to provide assistance to workers and companies in their labor market needs, social dialogue is certainly of great importance in the field of industry.

This is reflected in the commitment to absolute support for the ILO Convention on Private Employment Agencies, and both the Director and the affiliated members of the World Employment Confederation participated in many of the tripartite discussions and negotiations within the ILO on issues related to the sector and the changing and fluctuating entity of work.

This is because he is the owner of the work of the agency’s workers, and therefore the recruitment industry is not limited to the appropriate party to negotiate with workers’ representatives regarding employment decisions and work conditions. Rather, there is something more important than that as it is the only legitimate party that does so.

The WTU has regular contacts with UNI Global Union as well as the International Confederation of Trade Unions, and all of the member firms within WTU (then Ciett) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UNI Global Union to partner systematically.

In order for them to achieve fair conditions suitable for the temporary agency work industry and temporary agency workers by means of global social media.

The Global Employment Confederation has a close working relationship with the International Organization of Employers as well as the Business and Industry Advisory Committee of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development as one of the participating members.

The members of the World Employment Federation have become a party to a wide range of collective labor agreements that have an effective and clear role in improving the working conditions of workers within the agencies.

On the basis of a set of pillars and rights, including equal pay, occupational health and safety, pensions, training and a range of other forms of social protection.

The importance of dialogue in our lives

God endowed man with the ability to communicate since his birth so that he can secure all his needs, whether they are biological or psychological, and he has visual communication with everyone around him and evidence of the child’s interaction with the community and individuals around him since his birth.

Including the appearance of a smile, then after he grows up, words and language become the key to forming relationships between people, and here the differences between humans and other living beings become clear.

It is certain that a person needs to engage in discussions and dialogues, as it is one of the most important means of communication that is not limited to a specific stage, but rather is suitable for all stages of life and social matters.

Dialogue is the language of understanding between people and the paved way to reach the goals they want to achieve. The importance of dialogue:

  1. Achieving harmony among all people so that affection and peace spread among them.
  2. Building an advanced society as a result of effective dialogue.
  3. One of the effective and self-contained ways with family members.
  4. It contributes to the achievement and consolidation of justice, as it is necessary to listen to individuals in the discussion of any issue or problem.
  5. A way to exchange information, cultures and experiences between people.
  6. It also has benefits in family life, as it helps clarify the feelings that resulted in the dispute, and then understand them and search for solutions.
  7. It is necessary to avoid behavior that eliminates the possibility of dialogue, such as starting a fight and taking revenge, or leaving the discussion and withdrawing, which results in the presence of useless scars.
  8. It is food for the mind by listening to the problems and starting to develop solutions and searching for the complex.
